For Elsa, music is a family affair. It’s been a major part of her life since her earliest years — she grew up surrounded by singers and musicians and began making music at a very young age thanks to her drummer father.

Music very naturally became her passion and she soon decided to try her best to make it big. She discovered studio work doing chorus vocals for rap groups in Marseille, her hometown.

But she quickly realized that hip-hop would not be the easiest environment to make a name for herself as a solo singer.

Feeling more at home in contemporary R&B and soul, she took the plunge and recorded an Alicia Keys song at Soul Spirit Studio.

A mutual friend named Jean-Jacques introduced her to Nelson Leeroy, who was immediately captivated by her voice. He invited her to do the choruses on his eponymous album and to sing with him at a few concerts.

Elsa is just as comfortable with contemporary R&B as she is with dance music. Her first song, "Turn Me On," produced by DJ Yoni & Nelson, foretells a big success.
